Every January, the New York Met Opera begins its yearly season, and also Eugene O´Niel Theatre in Los Yoses begins its live transmissions!  The fist opera will be Wozzeck, by German composer Alban Berg and will take place on January 11^th, 11:55am.

This is Alban Berg´s most successful opera.  It tells the story of a soldier called Wozzeck.  He is haunted by visions of catastrophe, which eventually turn into reality.

New York Met Opera productions are famous for their grandeur and attention to detail.  Many people comment that because the live transmissions allow for close ups and views from multiple angles, the experience can easily surpass that of being physically present at Lincoln Center!
